Journey Through Time:

Elga Europe’s story begins in 1973, when it was founded as Elga s.r.l. with the mission to sell premium chemical products tailored for the printed-circuit industry. These products were originally manufactured by the renowned Lea Ronal Inc. As time progressed, Elga’s commitment to quality and innovation led to a transformative joint venture with Lea Ronal in 1979, rebranding the company as Elga Ronal.

In 1995, a pivotal partnership was established between Elga Ronal and T.O.K. Japan. This alliance marked the inception of dry film manufacturing entirely in Italy, positioning Elga to distribute its exceptional dry film throughout Europe and Western nations.

By 1999, Elga transitioned to being a 100% Italian entity, proudly operating under the name Elga Europe s.r.l. Even as joint ventures shifted and alliances were forged or dissolved, Elga Europe’s commitment to excellence never wavered. 2010 witnessed the culmination of its joint venture with T.O.K. Japan, empowering Elga Europe to hold complete ownership over the manufacturing site.

A significant chapter in Elga’s history was written in 2013 when a joint venture with Eternal led to Eternal acquiring a minority stake in Elga. This venture solidified Elga Europe’s position in the market as the sole distributor and technical supporter of Eternal dry film products in the European market, starting from January 1st, 2014.

2017 ushered in a new era as Eternal became the majority shareholder of Elga Europe and incorporated Elga Europe into the esteemed Eternal Group.
